We have been seeing non-emergency patients since April 27, 2020. To continue protecting against COVID-19, we will:

• require wearing of protective masks
  
• require non-patients and non-parents to wait outside of the office
  
• disinfect each frame that has been tried on between each patient
  
• require use of hand disinfectant by each patient before trying on frames
  
• disinfect all equipment before each patient
  
• disinfect all exam rooms and patient waiting areas after each patient encounter
  
• check temperature of each patient who enters the office
  
• ask that each person practice coughing and sneezing etiquette
  
• postpone a non-emergency appointment for 14 days if the patient has had a fever, had upper respiratory symptoms, has been in close proximity to someone who has had a fever or upper respiratory symptoms, has traveled to a COVID-19 hot zone within the past 14 days or has been in contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19
  

Even with these increased safety measures, there is an inherent risk of being exposed to COVID-19 whenever you are in a public place and people are present. COVID-19 can lead to severe illness and death.

By visiting the office, you assume all risks associated with exposure to COVID-19.
